  This place was incredible ! We stopped by after the Galaxy game for a quick bite and it was the best decision ever .
  
  We had the ribs (bbq sauce)  with mac and cheese, sweet potato and beans .yummmmm
  
  There might be a little bit of a wait for the food , but it's worth it for sure. Service was great and everyone was really friendly and helpful . And the food is totally inexpensive .
  
  100% recommend.

  My mom had bought me the fried chicken dinner to go. The sides: mashed potatoes & gravy, Mac & cheese, and yams. It was really good! Their prices are reasonable for the good flavor of food. I will try their oxtail next and update you guys on that!
  
  UPDATE: it was lunch menu that's cheap the dinner is very pricy!

  I wish I had taken pictures of the food because it look amazing and it was almost equally as good as it looked. My review is broken up into sections by food presentation, flavor of my dish, restaurant cleanliness and customer service. The ratings went down to 4 immediately upon entering and looking for a clean place to sit and to 3 when I tasted "my" food.
  
  My Aunt asked what I had a taste for and I told her I haven't had some real soul food since I moved to CA, RHOC&W doesn't count in my book.  In the past I've read places to dine for soul food and R&R kept popping up but I've never been there, so I was uber excited to go! Upon entering the restaurant I was not surprised by the stereotypical plain, unappealing, lifeless atmosphere as most soul food restaurants are that I've visited. Which didn't at all discourage me from the actual food and I'm glad I didn't "judge the book by its cover" because the food was simply delicious.
  
  When you first arrive and take a seat a waitress will bring over a plate of cornbread muffins and butter. I was so excited for that because I love cornbread muffins however, they didn't really have a flavor, so I only ate one. I'm used to sweet, airy, buttery morsels of the cornbread but this was not sweet, the batter is overly mixed because the density was like a hockey puck. I also had fried chicken, greens, mac and cheese and yams...you know the regular lol and it was okay. The fried chicken had a very crispy skin and was lightly seasoned but still good. The interior of the chicken was kind of dry so that was disappointing. The mac and cheese was the classic "it looks good and cheesy" but " it's not that good and cheesy." I would get it again but it could use more cheese dimensions for sure. Sorry guys. The sweet potatoes or yams, whatever you want to call them, were good. The greens were great. I liked the flavor but the meat in it was a little dry so I didn't know what that was about but it was okay with hot sauce.
  Now for my Aunt's dish. Lets just say, she knew what to order from them and she did not hold back. She got oxtails with rice and gravy, cabbage and Chitterlings. I think she got black eyed peas as well but I don't  remember. We split the chitterlings and I was already excited that restaurants out here have them on the menu but when I tried it (sorry, dropped mic) I felt like my hometown which is 3,000 miles away was right in these chitterlings 5 STARS! Great job on that guys! Then they brought out her oxtails in this beautiful dark brown gravy and the portion size was crazy generous, I'm salivating just thinking about it. My Aunt offered me some and I tried to pick it up and it slid right off the bone. The flavor is simply  PHENOMENAL and verrrrrrryy tender 5 STARS. So I pretty much ate my Aunt's food and took mine home.
  The portions are super generous and for someone like me, it lasted for 3 meals.  I know I only rated 3 stars overall but after factoring in restaurant cleanliness, customer service and the food that I ordered, I think that's pretty fair. I'm definitely going back today for some chitterlings and oxtails!

  Fried chicke, mac n cheese, rice and gravy were ON POINT!!! Came here for lunch and regret nothing! Definitely will be coming back!!!

  Excellent authentic soul food. Very busy! Good variety in menu! Felt like grandma hooked me up with some homemade eats :) I'll be back for sure!
